Perhaps there are some differences in the available items as I received a knob that has black numbers that are painted in an indented, recessed groove - the paint is below the surface of the knob. The photo of the item shown looks as though the painted numbers are on the knob surface. Also the boot I received for this has a chromed, plastic collar which is nicer than the one in the photo - the shifter post looks good with the collar. And lastly, these boots are not real leather - neither is the stock one I removed from my 2012 car to install this one - but it matches well the look of the seats. Overall, the items I received were better than the ones in the photo. Using this knob is so much more pleasant than the stock thumb-like one that came with the car - and the rattling I heard from what I thought was a problem with the transmission is now gone.

Had a few issues with shipping and communication, but got this knob and boot in the mail for my 2011 GT 5.0, and it looks pretty good. It does look brushed on the site and states that it is 'brushed aluminum', but the knob itself that I got, though nice, appears to be polished aluminum and is shiny. Regardless, it will make a nice addition to my ride when I take her out in the spring.
