The Honda Portable Navigation system is a lightweight GPS navigator, traveler�s reference and digital entertainment system, all in one. The navigator is installed using a customized mount designed especially for the CR-V and the Fit. The dealer-installed mount places the unit within easy reach, and it�s removable, so you can carry it with them as they travel.

You can use the Honda Portable Navigation system right out of the box. The system is preloaded with Garmin City Navigator NT street maps and a large points of interest (POIs) database with hotels, restaurants, fueling stations, ATMs, and more.

Touch the color screen to enter a destination, and the navigator will take you there, with 2-D or 3-D maps and turn-by-turn voice directions; your customers won�t need to take their eyes off the road. The navigator also accepts custom POIs, such as school zones and traffic cameras. You can set proximity alerts that alert them of upcoming POIs, and warn them to slow down or watch for upcoming cross streets.

Entertainment, Travel Tools, and More

The Honda Portable Navigation system also includes entertainment and travel tools, including an audiobook player (subscription to Audible.com required), MP3 player, a JPEG picture viewer, and a world travel clock with time zones, currency converter, calculator, and more.

The system also comes with Garmin Lock� , an anti-theft feature, and configurable vehicle icons that let your customer select vehicle-shaped graphics to show their location on the map.

Optional software on plug-and-play SD cards for language translation, detailed travel guides, and savings programs allow customization to meet your customers� travel needs. This is truly an all-inone personal travel assistant.
